My Brief Commentary:| According to one reviewer at corresponding page of Amazon.com site, Laura's album "Hold Me" received a lot of NEGATIVE reviews in 1985 and was the first her album not to go gold. It seems, that is the reason the CD was deleted. As aftermath, the 1st issue - US Atlantic release (in long cardsleeve !) turned into a kind of expensive gem for collectors. But, thanks to God, there are a few other ones: 2 Japanese on Warner-Pioneer (32XD-361, obi-strip, no barcode) and Victor Company of Japan (7 81265-2, EAN/UPC barcode: 07567-81265-2) and 1 German on WEA International (7 81265-2, EAN/UPC barcode: 07567-81265-2), all issued in 1985. These CDs offer to sell on eBay rather often. There is also one rare Japanese reissue of 1991 on WEA Music Japan (AMCY-255, EAN/UPC barcode: 49880 2 902554 8). Happy hunt ! - L.D. |
